Can I supply my own fixtures and tiles?
Absolutely, we simply adjust the quote accordingly. If you’d prefer, we can source quality products through our trusted suppliers, including Beaumont and National Tiles for tiling and Highgrove and Reece for fixtures.
Do you handle waterproofing in-house?
Yes, waterproofing is our specialty and installed by our trained, in house technicians in compliance with the NCC 2022 and Queensland Development Code.
What warranty do you provide?
A standard construction warranty of 12 months on non-structural defects, 7 years on leaks or structural defects, and a 10 year warranty from Crommelin Waterproofing due to the waterproofing being professionally installed in line with the Technical Data Sheet of the products we use. Your project will also be covered by the QBCC’s Home Warranty Insurance Scheme which protects you against unfinished or defective work.
Do I need council approval?
In most cases, standard bathroom renovations don’t require council approval. If your project involves major structural changes or significant plumbing alterations, we’ll guide you through the process during the consultation stage.
Can you renovate apartment bathrooms?
Yes. We renovate apartment and unit bathrooms and account for access requirements as part of the quote and scheduling.
What happens if asbestos is found?
We strip bathrooms back to the timber studs to check for hidden issues, including asbestos, which is common in older Brisbane homes. If it’s found, we arrange safe removal through licensed asbestos professionals and discuss options with you before proceeding. Your safety and compliance always come first.
